wedding update

Hello and welcome back to all my lovely readers. Sorry for the radio silence over the past few months - along with a crazy busy work schedule I have been frantically planning for my wedding and trying to fit in a whole calendar full of social commitments - think weddings, birthdays, Easter, Mother's Day ...

Throughout all of this I have really missed blogging and I'm so happy to be back! I have planned out posts for the rest of the week and I hope to stick to a normal blogging schedule for the rest of the year.

Today's post is just a quick wedding update. So far everything has gone wonderfully well. I'm so happy that I've managed to stay relatively organised throughout the wedding process - no bridezilla for me - yet anyway!

So my main update is that I have finally decided on and booked a florist. Flowers are such an important part of the wedding for me so it took me awhile to decide what I wanted and who I wanted to help me with the process. In the end, I decided on the lovely wedding stylist/florist Ruby Tree Creative - a relative newcomer on the Perth wedding scene and one with beautiful taste and superb floristry skills.  Kate, the owner of Ruby Tree Creative is also such a lovely person and I trust her one hundred per cent!

I've put together a mood board on the look I am going for - what do you think??

We've also been busy having meetings with our priest and church (I am getting married at my old school chapel), purchasing vases for our table centrepieces, deciding on our bonbonnieres, indulging in a delicious long lunch full of wedding tastings and perhaps the most exciting of them all - purchasing my wedding dress and shoes. I will save that experience for another post - it is true when they say it is one of the best and most emotional days of your life!

Thanks for tuning in and I will be back very soon.

G xx
