New York New York

New York is the first stop we will be making on our honeymoon and with three whole weeks to get lost in the city that never sleeps we have already started making plans!

So far our list includes ...
  • A whole day spent wondering through Central Park .. ideally we would start the day with a jog walk around the lake, followed by coffee and a croissant, a ride on the carousel, a quick trip to the zoo, finished off with an afternoon of hot chocolate and ice skating
  • A few nights at the theatre - I've heard Finding Neverland and the Book of Morman are must see's
  • A quick pit stop in Hoboken, New Jersey so we can indulge in a slice of crumb cake from Carlo's Bakery (Buddy Valastro aka Cake Boss is my idol and I have been dying to visit this place for over five years now)
  • A few classic New York tours including the Sex and the City location tour and the Gossip Girl tour. What can I say .... I love Mr Big, Charlotte, Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf!
  • A day trip to the Woodbury Common Premium outlet mall for some Kate Spade and Michael Kors bargains
  • More ice skating at the Rockefeller Centre
  • A visit to The High Line - we've heard this is a must do
  • A couple of trips on the Hop on Hop off buses ... does anyone else love these as much as we do? They are the perfect way to see the city while learning fun facts and interesting history
  • A Harlem Gospel experience finished off with brunch at the famous Sylvia's
  • Tickets to a few basketball games
  • Shopping at the American Target (can't wait!), J Crew, Sephora and Victoria's Secret
  • Starbucks skinny caramel iced lattes with sugarfree syrup ... so bad but so good
  • A visit to the Empire State Building observation deck (maybe my new hubby will bring some pink peonies to the top just like the epic moment on Gossip Girl)
  • A quick trip to the Hamptons
  • Dinner at the famous Balthazar restaurant
  • Breakfast to go from Dean and Deluca
  • Cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery

You can't half tell how excited I am can you ;)
