the beginnings of a bookclub

Yay, it's Friday! Nothing makes my smile brighter, wider and more colourful (although pink lippy does help with that) than waking up on a Friday morning and knowing the weekend is so close!

For the first time in many months I dont have ANY commitments this weekend and I plan to make the most of it by keeping healthy, exercising, cleaning, baking and me-time.

My favourite thing to do on a Saturday afternoon, after all the chores have been done and before I have to get ready to go out (or stay in) is to fill my bath with warm bubbly water, make myself a cup of tea and grab a new book. Sometimes I can spend hours in the bath, happily relaxing with a face mask and catching up on some long overdue reading time.

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to read and it is still one of my favourite past times. I have been meaning to join a book club for the last few years but just havent found the time or the right fit of people to make one up myself.

So my lovely readers, I have decided to start an online bookclub!

The first book I will be reading is Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter. I'm a sucker for a good crime fiction and I've read a few of Karin Slaughter's books before so I am really looking forward to reading this.

I've copied the blurb below and would LOVE it if you joined in with me and read this book over the next month. Please comment below if you are going to join in with me and I'll be back with an update over the coming weeks. You can purchase this book from Dymocks, Target, Kmart, Myer or online at Booktopia.

"With a missing girl in the news, Claire Scott can't help but be reminded of her sister, who disappeared twenty years ago in a mystery that was never solved. But when Claire begins to learn the truth about her sister, nothing will ever be the same."

Happy reading and have a wonderful weekend.
