blogmas day fifteen ... my bridal shower brunch

A few weeks ago I celebrated my bridal shower amongst my family and closest friends. It was such a beautiful day filled with games, girl talk, good food, champagne and I was even blessed with the perfect weather!

I absolutely love party planning and take great care in selecting everything from the plates, cups, tablecloths and balloons to the flowers, food, wine and gifts. My bridal shower theme stemmed from my beautiful invitations from Tiny Prints - featuring watercolour bottles of champagne in gold, yellow, pink and green. I purchased bunches of fresh flowers from a variety of gourmet supermarkets and bought them home to arrange myself. This was probably my favourite part of the party planning and preparation - you all know just how much I love fresh flowers.

Guests were treated to family style platters of breakfast canapes including ham and cheese croissants, mini quiches, sausage rolls, yoghurt and granola cups, mini fruit salad cups and breakfast pizza. Dessert included glitter topped Krispy Kreme donuts, custard cannolis, blueberry muffins and an assortment of homemade italian biscuits which we served on tiered cake stands on each of the guest tables! Drinks included pink fizzy breakfast punch, orange juice, apple juice, sparkling water and of course champagne. I also chose little bottles of pink champagne as the gift for guests and made up present packs including manicure sets, geo plates and teatowels and cake-baking kits for our game winners.

Enjoy the photos and scroll down to the bottom for a list of where I purchased everything from.
