blogmas day two ... santaland at myer perth

On Saturday we visited the new Giftorium and Santaland at Myer Perth City.

Santaland is an absolutely magical experience, complete with amazing activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.

We started off our visit with a ride on the virtual steam train - complete with a (virtual) snowball fight and a quick Christmas story. After the train ride, the beautifully dressed elves will guide you towards the North Pole, where Santa's cottage lies. There are three separate rooms where you can book in to have a private sitting with Santa. The photography is amazing and the setting is very traditional. Before your Santa visit, the photographer will also snap a few green screen photos where they superimpose your family into fun Christmas settings.

Bookings are essential otherwise be prepared to wait! The whole experience is free of charge, unless you choose to purchase photos, which range in price depending on the package.

After you have visited Santa, you are welcome to explore Santaland for however long you wish. There are so many different activities available including story telling with Mrs Claus, Christmas movies, a station where you can write a letter to Santa and put it in the post box, a colouring in station, nerf-ball shooting game and video game consoles.

After our visit to Santaland we managed to tick off some Christmas shopping in the gorgeous Giftorium. There are so many great ideas for presents, especially for those "hard to buy for" people in your lives. I love how the Giftorium is sectioned out into stations for children, teenagers, young adults, men, women and even includes tables with specialty gifts by genre (gardening, cooking, skincare, fragrance, gaming etc.).

It was a great family day out and if you have kids of any age, I would definitely recommend a visit to Myer Perth City!

For Santaland booking information visit the Myer website.
